That was also my initial feeling......Now that I've had some time to think about it I'll reserve judgement until I see what happens in the near future....Im trusting that Ken knows what he's doing and that there was a reason to upsize the raise at this price.  We really don't have a choice one way or another and as long as the sp goes in the right direction I'm happy.

What kind financing do you regard as fair and not pathetic? Nobody likes dilution, but do you think KK had better options? My rule of thumb tells me that we rise with high volume and go south with low. And, I am afraid, it will happen again. Those here that are long and want to see this through will wait until the fate of their investment is settled by some negotiation, that is JV - and not by a ...more

Well said!!! I personally wasn't upset that they were doing a PP, I was more upset because I figured they could maybe get a better price if they released the rest of the results, gold popped, etc....But if there is something they are going to accomplish between now and then with this money I'm happy... If we get nothing, and then they go and do another raise in the spring at a higher ...more

Also well said JS Yeah if only we could have timed this for our recent rise in gold! But that impossible...what I've always expected (and I view this as a damned good sign) is Tudor announcing a PP of xyz amount and it always turns into xyz X2 due to high demand. Everyone wants a piece of this. Simple deduction says Newmont keeps in close touch with KK/Tudor.  We've done good ...more
