Which first nation has TC signed a cooperation agreement with again? Don't think it was these fine fellows.  But, if we get even close to where SEA is in terms of development they will leave TC alone, I'm sure, lol.   All the TC pump crew prob think no factor, but when SEA sneezes, we likely all get a cold. With the validity of the entire mineral tenure act in BC in ...more

What's the SEA news release about? The TSKLH indigenous group is less than 50 people and they are claiming most of the Golden Triangle as theirs, overturning the Tahltan and Nisga'a recognized First Nations who have established land claims. The TSKLH are suing the BC Government for recognition using the SEA Substantially Started Determination as leverage. They are not suing SEA. Do you ...more

Ohh man CSK you underestimate the world we live in now. The world where marginalized groups get the biggest say so. Where we change bathroom signs for the .01% of the population. California will run its fresh water supplies into the ocrean hurting the populations to protect a tiny nameless fish. You think because their numbers are small means they will get rolled over? You didn't get the memo ...more

Can a 50 member Indigenous group overturn the established land claims of the two most powerful First Nations in northwestern BC? Not likely. The TSKLM has been trying to scam the province for many years. BC is fully prepared to defend its legal position and that of the recognized First Nations.

Not saying you are not correct CKS. More of a commentary on the current state of they way things are now. The majority does not always mean its a given. And there are alot of instances of that.

Dear Tudor friend csk : You can only hope that it doesn't come to a trial. Then the "relationship between the ministry and dear Rudy" would get some deep scratches. Some users here on the boards have used the term "bribes". On the other hand, I believe that it is a welcome gift for dear, esteemed Rudy to explain the lack of JV for the next few years

"In its Petition, TSKLH are seeking a declaration that the Province failed to fulfill its duty to consult TSKLH in respect of the SS Determination and an order quashing the SS Determination on the basis that the Province failed to fulfill its duty to consult, the Province failed to discharge its duty of procedural fairness and/or that the SS Determination was unreasonable." ...more
