TUO Valuation

Thanks Larry, I understand about the beauty of the NSR and the reflexion of its worth as described by Zorg.  It is my feeling that Teuton will never get that "far along" that it has to pay for its share of capital cost in building such an expensive mine.  That is why I speak in terms of "gold in the ground".  It will be sold long before then and it is that predevelopment valuation we are speculating on.  So with that in mind, what is the consensus of the recent "simplistic" and extrapolated valuation calculation I suggested and please note I tend to base all of this on the historic price paid for Malartic, Great Bear, and such others.  WW

Bovalena, I don't think the NSR will be sold by Teuton.  Dino's vision is for Teuton's project generation to evolve into a streaming company, hence why all the properties they option out have a no-buyback NSR in them.  Here's my most likely scenario.  Teuton will spin out Goldstorm/Treaty Creek: shareholders at that time will become shareholders of both companies ...more

Great post rockport1, I agree. The only thing I would question is whether or not Dino would ever partner up with AMK again, my thought on this being due to some long ago historical events that I don't bring up anymore.  Anyway things are really looking up for TUO and I need to get over my own issues with AMK, forgive and move on. I'm assuming the consolidated company would be run by Tudor managment.  Teuton management would no longer need to be involved, thus not required to work with AMK folks.

Here's my most likely scenario.  Teuton will spin out Goldstorm/Treaty Creek: shareholders at that time will become shareholders of both companies. The non-Goldstorm company to hold the NSR along with most other Teuton properties and NSRs..  The spun-out company will eventually be consolidated with AMK and Tudor. This company will then be bought out.  - rockport The three ...more

I dont think there will, nor should there be, a meger of the interests in TC of all 3 amigos until TUD has spent enough money to bring TC to a production decision.  That is likley 18 to 24 months away at a minimum.  Sure, AMK and TUO could combine thier interests in TC, but not with TUD.  You could try and adjust the ratios in a 3 way deal before then but I cant see an agreement ...more

Highper et al, I think in terms of the project being sold as a whole as you suggest, and the aquirer may end up being a consortium of Barrick, Newmont, Agnicro Eagle Ect, and probably best if they aquire us with stock in taxable account and cash in a nontaxable/tax deferred account.  If purchased for stock or cash, it has been suggested that the consortium would want to control the NSR and ...more

I'd love to use Great Bear for valuation purposes.  But there is no comparison.  GB was high grade. And high grade open in all directions.  With bulk of initial resource (technically there was no resource at the time as GB had no interest in publishing one) was open pit.  Its in a fantastic jurisdiction (accessibility, permitting, mining expertise, cost etc).  You also ...more
