Did not expect this NR , seems okay, need to digest....

So basically Villar is looking after TVI operating costs  and is picking up another 58 M shares of TVI from Cliff .Villar now controls just under 20 % of TVI .
NR does not state how much Villar paid per share, or I missed it.
So if Villar owns 20 % of TVI  and 69 % of TVIRD .In actuality Villars 20 % of TVI means an additional 6.1 % ownership of TVIRD totalling approx. 75 % ownership of TVIRD.
WTF ? Seems like good thing to have Villar increase his ownership of TVI/TVIRD.

It feels like cliff retirement strategy, his slow exit from tvi. These kind of program often bought shares at market price, that's probably why there's  always some sellers to keep the price down. Unfortunately the total debt of TVI just seem to increase , it's a strange strategy raise shareholders value....it will juste take a lot more revenue to pay back the loan with interest.. ...more

Agree, Cliff is 75 years and at TVI/TVIRD since 1987 ( 37 years )  I would think that Villar will take over the chairman role. Perhaps TVIRD new website will reveal some things. I dont think it would be a bad thing if cliff retires, maybe the share price will stop falling off the cliff
