Doubting Donnas vs Positive Pauls

Tommorow is the first day of trading in September of this year signalling that summer is technically over and more interest should start taking place in the markets.  For the months of July and August of this year there has been a lot of chatter on and off this board that the future is bright for TVI while others think that TVI is all but dead.  Starting tommorow and during the month of September and maybe October we will find out who is right , will it be the Doubting Donnas or will it be the Positive Pauls??? During the most recent Press Release from TVI it should be noted that TVI has tapped the Funding Commitment Agreement with PrimeResources Holding for another $196,000 for a total of
$1,181,348.45 with nothing to show for it accept a roughly 31% interest in TVIRD which at this time is not a Publicly traded company?  It appears that TVI's sole purpose is to borrow money to fund TVIRD's profitable mining operations , with NO direct advantage to TVI?  As such my heart and money supports the Posotive Pauls while my brain tells me that the Doubting Donnas are right and it won't be long until the Fat Lady is singing?
Good Luck to all!

True they should be telling us where the funds are going

Slick, it might be better to think of things a little differently. The owner of TVIRD is loaning funds to TVI whos only value is the 30.6 % of TVIRD. Therefore it is safe to assume that Villar strongly believe in the value of TVI's share of TVIRD. Also, TVI is NOT borrowing funds for TVIRD. TVIRD raises their own funds. Good luck.

I just hope that we are not still talking about this in Sept 2025, but I bet we will be.  Villar has a plan, what that plan is, none of us know.  Lets hope it help the SP.

I hope Villar has a plan for TVI. And I am sure he does.  After all Villar is a highly succussful business man , who obviously never made his great fortune by losing money or throwing it away?  Hopefully soon we will all be enjoying some champagne and saying I wish I bought more shares at 1 or 1.5 cents.   Good Luck to all!

Still pic up shares at .015.  Question is should we
Comment by rockingrooster on Sep 06, 2024 11:25am
DEFINITELY !  I am sure the sellers at .015 will regret their decision in the near future. Think about it. TVI's  market cap at .015 is just under $11,000,000 That would mean that if TVI owns 30.66% of TVIRD,therefore TVIRD market cap would under  $36,000,000 It does not take a genius to know that TVIRD is worth many times greater than 36 M

As long as the dangling carrot of TVIRD on the PSE doesn't happen, TVI itself will not be valued correctly, because no one truly knows right now how much TVIRD is really worth, though I very much agree with you, at .015, very undervalued.  It's become a blue line promise (In Montreal, they promised us an extension to the metro blue line in the 70's.. and it took me leaving the ...more

Hey Bludstan. On a side note, there is one other way that would establish the value of TVI and that would be TVI  P/E ratio when TVI earns Dividends from TVIRD.. Any P/E under 12 would be fantastic. At .015 share price , we would need only $910,000 of earnings to net a P/E of 12
Comment by Bludstan on Sep 09, 2024 6:23pm
Sure RR, but TVI hasn't received dividends since 2022, and those dividends weren't enough to pay expenses. Resuming regular dividends from TVIRD (in 2022, just .7M, so under your .91M scenario) would just bring us back, or so I would expect the market to react, to the 2-2.5c range, that's all. However the true valuation of TVIRD if/when they finally list, with their own separate market ...more

rockingrooster, do you think there's still hope for TVI Pacific? Any chance this stock would get back to a dollar?
Comment by rockingrooster on Sep 26, 2024 12:02pm
Not in the short term,it  would mean approx. 2.5 Billion cad market cap for TVIRD. Perhaps when all projects are rocking i.e. mabilo, limestone along with balabag and siana. I remain very optimistic, although a little frustrated, and I can see .25 per share if things line up.gltu
Comment by miner123 on Sep 26, 2024 12:32pm
Thanks for that insight, Rockingrooster... Is the C$ .25 likely to happen within the next 2 years given the recent management changes?  From your own personal observations, you're optimistic because TVI continues to be well-run when it comes to operations, right?  Was the underperformance of the stock in the last 20+ years a result of the lousy PR management that went on where they ...more

The biggest problems are 1) poor or no communication  2) misleading shareholders on and on re TVIRD PSE listing. No PR management can make up for poor management. This PSE carrot has been dangled for over 8+ years . Throughout the last 20 years Cliff has made a nice living for basically doing squat. With Villar driving everything now,we could possibly see some urgency.
