Hey Pip, Rod, Here is my Pump
Dear Rod,
I think you are right. DOD will not come in on Ucore until the state of Alaska is in 100%. Partly because the company is Canaian but because of Sercurity laws. A US company can be investagated but a Canadian company can only be investagated so far before it is turned over to the Canadian version of the FBI to complete. You can be sure that DOD will be laying faults in any orders for REE. What is Laying Faults? You remember that USSR got the blue prints for the space shuttle. They build one and it only flew once. It almost did not make it back to earth. There were enough faults layed in the blueprints that it was useless. China is trying to build electromagnet cat. for there new aircraft carrier. They don't work. Can we wonder why?
To get funding from Alaska, they need test results. Even if the results are not 90% better, but say 50% that is still better than China's. I think that Alaska is hungry enough for this new industry that they will push it. In the last update they said by the end of March. Next six weeks are going to be very interesting.
Questions to ask Mark: Are Ucore computer networked air gapped. Two layers or just one? Is the IP for RSX and MRT off the network. Are the harddrives for the network pulled and vaulted at the end of each working day? If Ucore is not secure then DOD is not going to put money into them until they are. DOD has lost to much data to China's hackers.
Just some thoughts.

Pip check out this PR explains Ucores direction over the next 2-3 years...Q1 2021 we should be getting Bokan results for purity if I read that right. https://www.newsfilecorp.com/release/73162

Who are you trying to fool other than yourself? Says NOTHING about Bokan or purity, which doesn't mean a damn magnet metals anyway. All it basically says is that the demo pilot plant won't be proven commercially until mid 2022. Who'd be stupid enough to lend them any serious money between now & then?

Pip, you might find it helpful if you learnt to read: "Commissioning of the RapidSX demonstration-scale pilot plant ("RapidSX Demonstration Plant") is scheduled to start in Q3 2021 with a comprehensive, independent techno-economic study and the design of a commercial-scale REE separation facility, both planned for completion in Q1 2022."

Senator Murkowski is adamant this is going to happen. My dollar lies with the powerful words of the senator of Alaska, Bokan is viable it’s full of heavies...

Dragon my guess would be UCORE is being totally compliant with DOD regarding security even at this stage. But you raise one hell of a good point. Well worth exploring
