DOD reaction, State of Alaska, and Building from scratch

Good afternoon,
Another gray cloudy day in the Seattle area.  Had clam chowder and fresh bread for lunch.  Then a nap with the cat on the shoulder.  Answering Pip's question got me to thinking.

What would DOD reaction be if China cut off sales of REE?  Well, for about 18 to 24 months it would change nothing.  That is DOD length of reserve of REE.  But in that 18 to 24 months three supplier would be funded to be on line by the end of the reserve.  As I am looking at the players, that suspicious part of my mind, is asking has Lynas and MP been setup to fail?
MP built a billion dollar separation plant, but can't get it to finish separation.  It only does 90% of the separation.  Is there a missing piece?  Because MP is talking about building a new plant or just the missing piece to the one they have now?
Lynas is doing plans to build a plant in TX.  They have DOD money to come up plans and cost to build it.  That is all.  Those plans would have to be approved by the EPA.  How likely is that happen with Biden in the white house?
Then there is Ucore.  It is not asking the USG for a billion dollars, which is a line item on a spending bill.  It asking for 35 million from a state agency, not the DOD, DOE, or other parts of the USG.  Would they be more likely to get EPA approval.  In a word yes, They would be using only 10% of the acids needed to make SX work by volume.  Easiler to control.
Now have any of you heard of a company that is building a REE separation plant that is big enough to take over suppling the USG?  We have three player, two want to build a regular SX plant that cost anywhere from 100 million to one billion dollars.  Then we have Ucore's RSX plant that cost around 35 million.  Which one is more likely to get built?

State of Alaska is pushing for the building of Ucore's SMC.  I would like to remind all you folks that this is the state that got the federal government to build a bridge to nowhere that the state still maintains in the hope that they can build a road and dig three tunnels to use.  They want this as a way to make money off the mineral weath of the state.

Building from scratch:  For fourteen years of the time I worked for the Navy, I did one job.  I cut out reactor compartments from US sub and sealed them up and shipped them off to Hanford, WA.  The first three I was rewriting the plans with the engineers almost most daily.  It took 15 months start to finish on the first one.  By the time I got to thirtyfifth one we had it down to four mouths start to finish.  Ucore is building a RSX plant from scratch.  How many time will Ucore have to stop and fix/change the design?  By the time they build the thrid one they will have it down to a fine science.  Yes, Pip the third one.
You all have a great weekend.

Don't forget REEMF.  They are one of the DOD recipients, just like MP and Lynas.  They will be a player.

Alive and became very well off...You should stick with XRP, it 5x from where I told you to buy and it will go up even more...For those who wants to get 1000% or higher this is the right crypto to buy. Not a financial advise. Did you hold the XRP until Dec. 12/2020?

So if you still had XRP on Dec. 12, you will get your Spark (FLR) later in June this year. You will also get DFLR from Flare Finance on top of that, all free...look at FLR it is at $1.48...how much did you get it for? zilch, zero, nothing, free...you will get DFLR free too...do the math.

Dragon the height of ignorance is to write copiously on a subject you very clearly do NOT understand at all, on a forum where some deluded muppets may actually pay some attention to your nonsense. If you have a shred of personal integrity you will try and find someone to explain the basics of the RE process, I've tried but you stupidly refuse to try and understand. Lynas will have no issues ...more

Dear Ausheds, You are rtight in that I do not know the ins and outs of SX as well as you.  But I do know DOD supply chain.  I also know The power of the EPA under a democratic president.  Lynas may build a plant in TX but when is the question I was asking?  As for Ucore being a fairytale.  The only constant is change.  Lynas has done what.  Take seventy year old ...more

Very difficult to have any respect Dragon when you sit there like a rabbit in a spotlight and simply refuse to learn, clinging to the ridiculous belief that Lynas has not progressed their understanding & execution of the RE process in over eight years of continuous practice. Frankly quite stupid. The first of that was quite arduous, correcting numerous serious flaws in design & construct ...more

I never said 100x for Ucore...not in this industry. You all playing the wrong industry. As for mister know it all, criticizing someone because he make a few $$$. I hope you all continue to make more $$$, not the type to wish bad on anyone... what I am trying to say is, this industry takes too long, and that Lynas business model no matter how you spin it won't make a lot of $$$ for the ...more

Stay with what I told you to buy...since it is not that much, don't sell until double or triple digits. That little amount will blow pass your investment on these slow stocks... I have one 2000% increased, 4 other 5x or higher...so you do the math.

It's funny that you are teaching people about RE Process and yet you have NO sense in business. So, Lynas is importing pre-processed (clean carbonated material) for their plant in TX. Why not just buy fully processed material (lol). The cost of pre-process and shipping to the TX facility add to their cost. They are playing with regulatory BS, so they can get plant approval and get their stocks ...more

Clearly you are not only ignorant of the staged RE process but the economics, intn'l pricing strategy, not to mention intn'l security concerns. You also appear oblivious to the fact the US is not the only supply chain Lynas building out, suspect there will be news of involvement in a third shortly. Lynas is working a very strategic LT plan TOTALLY based on the economics of RE crafted by ...more
