The object to investing is to make money not lose it.

Dear UcoreGuy,
I drink just plain old Folgers, nothing fancy.
Sorry, to hear that you were losing money.  You might want to try buying low and selling high.  That work a lot better or just forget the buy and selling if you are not good at it.  I worked out the odds on that and you have to be right 3/4 of the time to make any real money.  Why don't you try buy and hold and let the interest do the gaining.  My personal favorite is NYMT.  It sells for 2.50 to 3.00 and pay 14% to 16% intesest.  It is a real estate trust and with rates going up, it is a long term hold.  Use DRIP and your divident is paid in shares not cash.  Otherwise SPY and QQQ.  The advantage of both is that dividens are paid every month of the quarter/year.

Dragon:  Good advice.  You wrote "Use Drip", that is the Folgers I drink!

Dear UcoreGuy, No on the drip for folgers.  The DRIP I was talking about is the Dividend Reinvestment Program.  Ask your broker about it. Dragon

Dragon--LOL, I knew that, just messing around!  Nothing wrong if the stock could build a new base around $1.00.  Thinking that might be what has started and could continue until relevant news.  Like all these highly speculative microcaps, it's news that moves the stock dramatically.

PIP--Speaking of EV, added LI today.  Great numbers out and looks like it's taking market share from NIO and the like in China. Sometimes it works out to pick up shares that have had a steady rise on excellent numbers with better expected and still is well under its 52-week high. Like the biggest jump in manufacuring in 12 years just reported and the end of Covid lockdown, thinking ...more
