An Easter Egg which some of you apparently overlooked in the recent Reuters article on Ucore (https://www.reuters.com/sustainability/climate-energy/western-start-ups-seek-break-chinas-grip-rare-earths-refining-2023-12-04/) was the banner photo of a hand holding up rare earth ore with the caption "Raw Rare Earth ore waiting to be processed at Vital Metals in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan".
Vital Metals receives no mention in the body of the article.
So imagine my interest when I read that subsequent to Canada's $3 million dollar investment in Ucore, members of the Canadian Government are now talking about denying Shenghe Resources from taking a major stake in Vital Metals.
