Is Matterport going public?

Could the news of Matterport going public be the reason why UI's stock price jumped?
 
Although Matterport is a much larger player than UI, investors will be able to compare Matterport's valuation with UI.  There is no doubt in my mind, that initially, Matterport's valuation will be much higher than UI.  So yesterday, who was buying UI stock?
 
Perhaps somebody involved in the Matterport merger is of the opinion that UI's valuation will increase after the merger is announced.  A knowledgeable investor would think that UI's valuation would align closely with Matterport's and would also speculate that Matterport could purchase UI.
 
Yesterday more than 2,090,000 shares were traded on the Venture exchange and more than 2,354,000 shares were traded on the OTC markets.  Almost all of the trading occurred after 15 : 00.  I wish I knew if there were a few larger transactions or many small transactions.  The buyers are looking for a profit, maybe they are looking for a short-term gain or a long-term gain.  Irregardless, these buyers are speculating that the share price will go higher.
 
I am hoping that in the next few days, I will be able to go through Matterport's financial statements.

laurencelefou... as I indicated earlier on Thursday night I sent UI to a Bay Street company that specializes in early tech company investments on the TSX.V for their evaluation.  In my opinion they discovered the value mid day on Friday and immediately moved to take a large position. If it is the Bay St. company - they are in for the long haul and will recommend UI accordingly to their

Friday at 14 : 55, there was a spike in the volume of shares traded for Gores Holdings V inc.   At 15 : 20, there was a spike in volume for Urbanimmersive (UI) shares traded on the venture exchange and the OTC market (UBMRF).  A coincidence?
