Urbanimmersive versus Matterport
Who has the best 3D immersive tour?
Look at these two tours of the same condo unit. One was done by Matterport and the second by Urbanimmersive.
The shoot was done with a Matterport camera. You can see the Matterport camera in the bathroom mirror or the window on the balcony.
18501 Collins Avenue, Unit 4003/04, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida (incidently, this condo unit is located 6 miles north from the condo building which collapsde).

Keep in mind that UI will soon be rolling out its own dollhouse view.
Which one do you think is better?
To get an idea of the quality of the image, you must look at the kitchen, the bathrooms and the views from the seaside balcony.
Matterport's navigation tool is smoother. Urbanimmersive navigation tool is too fast.
Both navigation tools have a tendancy to bring you to a different image eventhough you have not click to go to another image.
The quality of the image produced by Matterport is superior. I was able to read the name of the appliance maker GAGGENAU. I was unable to read the name on the UI tour.
I prefer Ui's floor plan. It is easier to navigate than Matterport floor plan which is not clear and not accurate.
So I will give the edge to Matterport for a better image quality and smoother navigation tool.

Thank you Laurence for your great research work. I think the lower quality has something to do with UIs shorter time to 3D scan apartments. I know that it takes much longer with Matterport, but you see clear Quality differences. Though, that has nothing to do with the software.
