Quebec real estate data

For the year ending Dec 2021 there were a total of 126,730 new listings which compares to 129,501 for 2020  or a 2% decline. I've decided to check out 2019 to see how they did before the pandemic and the total number of new listings was 138,439.

For the month of January 2022, the number of new listings is 9,347 which compares to 9,615 or a 3% decline.

Ive looked at Redfin to see what's happening on the US side and  the number of new listings (metropolitan) from the 12 week period ending at Dec 26,2021 declined by 6% year over year.

Everyone is talking about the shrinking supply for homes that are for sale, but lately number of homes that are for rent have been going up. These listings also need marketing efforts. Sure, that's only about 35% of all houses, but why can't Urbanimmersive capitalize on this growing market?
