As discussed in the article below, fostering a robust domestic battery industry is essential for U.S. energy independence, especially with the increasing adoption of renewable energy. By investing in this sector, the U.S. can lessen its dependence on foreign lithium sources and battery production. Nevada is specifically well positioned to support this industry with its bountiful lithium deposits.

Usha Resources (USHA.v USHAF) is positioning itself to support the growthing lithium industry as it controls the Jackpot Lake project in Nevada, located near the the Silver Peak Nevada Lithium Mine which is the only producing lithium mine in North America
USHA is expanding the Jackpot Lake project area to 8,714 acres after a successful maiden drill program. The company aims to define a 43-101 resource, with drilling showing similarities to the Silver Peak Nevada Lithium Mine.
Recent results from the project indicate that lithium grades reached as high as 820 ppm, with an average of 334 ppm Li in thirty samples collected from shallow surface soils (<500 ft). These findings are over four times the reported historical average of 100 ppm for the Esmeralda Formation (which also contains the Silver Peak Mine).
USHA plans to advance drilling to 2,000 feet, focusing on these promising zones, and may proceed with a maiden resource estimate, positioning itself among a select few in the U.S. lithium industry.
