I originally bought VCI many years ago at $3.60/share and the dividends have more than paid for my investment.  I sold some when we went over $6 to take some profit but still have quite a few ...more

With rates soaring, the housing market is freezing up. Taking the marginal buyer out of the market will significantly slow new construction, even in Alberta. Look at commentary from Melcor (MRD) etc ...more

Cashion's salary is under $100k/year. You do realize that he owns 30% of the company right? The vast majority of his compensation (90%) is from dividends. VCI paid out $2.7million in dividends ...more

Does everyone here realize that the CEO is being paid over $700k a year? That works out to about 2.5% of the market cap, and is among the highest in Canada on a % market cap basis. It's extortion. ...more
