Board resignation

Any thoughts on this?  We seem to be very top heavy with academics.  We also need strong business people.  Not sure this stock is going anywhere but down.

These guys will bring the product. V.Bond is business oriented also, don't forget. Would rather have a real life tested working product and get optimal value out of it instead of selling hopes and dreams for a fraction like many companies do. Might be a longer boring timeline but in the end, will be worth it. Marquest should be gone and done dumping millions of shares. Some good news should ...more

Well said thank you!

Startups typically have academics at the onset. At some point tho, you must retain those who can execute & deliver revenue. I do not believe there is a single business person there who knows how to execute inclusive of the CEO, no disrespect, just business. Until said time as to when they realize this...expect much of the same. Deals & prospects of deals make news and buoy confidence. This ...more

I don't disagree, there will be a need to get some business savvy individuals involved to move things. I also have been a little vocal about getting this a little more well known out there. Seems the only ones who see the NR are current investors. So not a whole lot more new eyes on it ever. I do believe it's coming. I also do think V.Bond is capable of getting the ball rolling, but to get ...more

Good discussion and comments.   To get some new eyes will need an agreement with a company that has more eyes on it.   Such as another Panasonic deal which had a positive effect on the stock price until the real agreement was known.   I still have faith in V.Bond and yes someone with connections to a big player would certainly be beneficial to us all.

So many promising companies with game changing tech wipe out because the brain trust of the organization do not act. Reveune is the oxygen of any/all companies. The problem here is, they don't have any. Nor do they have angels who can adequately fund them without dilution. They haven't acted accordingly by attracting operators. They have relied on academics to move the needle. They are ...more

So, why then has the ball not rolled? This isn't a startup from several months ago...and yes, development takes time, sure. The notion that 1 path is the only path is death. The lack of vision & foresight to build a pipeline funnel of potential deals, partnerships & cash has been a misfire and it may very well be a total flop. At some point, hard decisions must be taken. Further, NR ...more

Let's hope they aren't too "attached" and over valuing themselves out of deals. Common trait for those who out so much into something. There hasn't really ever been shareholder value in this company. Something needs to happen, and happen soon

I agree with you Gary.  I can compare today's startup, like VCT, with some of the high tec startups of the late 80's to the early 2000's.  I knew some of these businesses and the main characters very well.  No doubt there was an element of luck and timing.  There was more money flowing around then than today as well.  The successful enterprises had a ...more

Would completely agree with you both.   Do either of you have any comment on why Martin left?   Was the decission he was not the savvy business leader?
