This news should be rocking the stock, but no, hence why public markets are a waste of money, no wonder private equity is doing so well. 2000 tonnes, low cost trenching, to feed a new plant. I guess we need to wait for the news on their new plant design.

That is a lot of contrast . Patience will be rewarded and yes this should have moved the needle along with  much higher  volume. The 2,000 tonnes are expected to be a high-grade sample with low waste. Voyageur's goal is to extract 1,000 to 1,200 tonnes of high purity barium sulfate from this sample, to be used in barium contrast manufacturing. To put the number in perspective, 1 ...more

If they know the spot where 1000 tonnes of barite can be extracted from 2000 tonnes of earth (50%) why even do any more mining after that?     Year Tonnes mined BaSO4 mined % of Total 1 568,200 10,500 1.85%  ...more

Co. should have been clearer about the revenue potential of 2000 tonnes. It's $12 million USD.

They are not allowed to report any finacial numbers under a resource catagory. NI-43-101 rules.

Iscfa: How did you arrive at 12M US dollars? 110M bottles of Smooth X works out to be a little more than a dime for each bottle...

The study used current pricing of $5,950/t for BaSO4; we were using $4,940/t in our models in the initiating report in 2020. Note that barite pricing has been relatively stable in the past decade. For pharma products, each tonne of BaSO4 can produce over 100,000 bottles, implying potential revenue of over $400k/t. https://voyageurpharmaceuticals.ca/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Voyageur-Mar-2022 ...more

400k a ton x 2000 tons = 800M potential revenue............those are great apples

I assume most of the inital 2,000 tonnes will be sold wholesale to others to generate some cash flow to build plant so $6,000/tonne Cdn.
Comment by lscfa on Sep 23, 2022 10:18am
Which is it?    $5 x 111,111,000 = $555 million.....$7.50 x 3,000,000 = $22.5 million To put the number in perspective, 1,000 tonnes of pharmaceutical grade barium sulfate, can create: Approximately 111,111,000 bottles of SmoothX smoothie contrast media, or Approximately 3,000,000 bottles of HDX powdered contrast media

We need more clarity. The PEA assumes most of the tonnes processed is non-Pharma. How much of this inital 2000 tonnes is destined for Pharma sales?      Year 1 PEA Bottles Tonnes Price Revenue Smooth x 5,600,000    ...more

Based on the amount of contrast this can produce and  based on their projected sales figures I would not expect a large amount of it to go to contrast but probably most to other uses.  111 million bottles x price per bottle is a lot.more than 1 years projected sales. "The 2,000 tonnes are expected to be a high-grade sample with low waste. Voyageur's goal is to extract 1 ...more
