Excellent question..   In  the past year there have been guesses on the board  of  from  $4  to  $  10 per share.  (These however were before the financing  which doubled the number of shares.) Probably  around  $5  would get you to  1B   fully diluted I am not sure  but maybe  if we asked George to do another & ...more

Anything less than $10 a share would be disappointing. This should be worth between $30 - $50 per shares, so if we get a buyout for $15 - $25 per share, the buyer would double his money. Patience required.

Would love you to break this down with a valuation ! Doing some back of the envelope calculations using your numbers, is confusing (then again i am an idiot) But using your 50.00 top end.... 178 million fully diluted shares, at 50 makes this a buyout price of almost 9 billion   Lets forget about the fact VPT has zero sales for the MRQ, and look at the ultrasound market   ...more

lol that's probably the most shamelessly high valuation I've seen yet. My guess is $2-300 billion for the company/ approx $1.30-2.00 per share and after 5 years I'd be happy to have it. I'd love to be wrong on the low end though, just don't see it unless they really come through with the sales

always  fun to speculate.   rounding the  numbers off   ,  if the entire market  is  about  1.7 billion  and  we have about 170 million shares,  we  wold  see per share sales of $10  however,  VPT  would  not constitute 100%  of a  unit  but just a part  and there is still acost  of ...more

I think your .60cents is a lot closer to the truth than those wierdly high $+ valuations. Come back to reality, this is not a fantasy board.  If we are not seeing any price increases during this peak Covid time,, (it is falling in S.P).  it is not going to happen in the near 1-2 year future.  This is our time to excell but we are floundering. JIHO.
Comment by GrahamB on Dec 18, 2021 10:42am
That is my thinking exactly. 60cents is the top end IMO, but they need to show that there is a genuine demand for the product. Videos and articles that convince investors may move the share price in the short term and is great for tradibg(I see that now), but will not affect the valuation nor even the likelihood of a buyout. People can handwave all they want -but sales recorded on the Income ...more

Keep in mind that a few years back when they got the FDA approval the price ran from about 15 cents to 95 cents in about one hours time. (end of February, 2017?). It can be volatile with the right kind of news. Of course we have a boatload more shares mow.

Yes I remember that day very well , I got in on the frenzy that day , I probably traded 500,000 shares in a few days then I settled with 250,000 shares at .54 for a very long position , I believe there was 36 million shares traded on that HC approval day resulting in a 900% jump in the SP , the reason for the frenzy was George with his forward looking statements, all were waiting for is home ...more

Not much is being said about the Chinese/VPT connection and how this convoluted arrangement between the two may be standing in the way of GE making a buyout offer for VPT, lock stock and barrel. Does anyone really understand the Chinese/VPT arrangement or whatever you want to call it? Every time the subject comes up, George seems to skirt around the issue. Has anyone seen anything in writing ...more

Only thing I can say is too many deals with Chinese involvement have gone bust including a couple I had shares in -- never to be seen again. I would be much happier without a Chinese connection - but at this point it is what it is until we hear further.

The concern always is a permanent "technology transfer" https://www.chinadaily.com.cn/a/202007/15/WS5f0e754fa310834817259993.html

If this is a serious question, and not just something to prompt speculation to fuel excitement about the stock, to pump up the price, then there are established approaches to value a company like this:   1.  Multiple of capital EBI TDA.  This does require revenue however, and ventrapoint does not have any operational revenue at this point-the only cash coming in is from financing ...more
