Felix ( once again)

Just wanted to make a few comments about Felix if anyone is interested. Drilling is proceeding very well - making good hole  - cannot say anything else but stay tuned.
I have spent considerable time researching Algoma type iron formation gold deposits . I liken the VSR  geophysical exploration  Felix  prospect to the
Lupin Mine within the Superior Province in the NWT. - same sediments , banded iron formation, same grade of metamorphism,  structural deformation and most importantly , identical geophysics. I worked there decades ago and I understand VSR will be releasing visuals eventually on the cores  and perhaps some flash assays ( if warranted) . The core will be the  only visual evidence of rock  in the area.

Several criteria must be simultaneously satisfied in order to form an iron-formation-hosted gold deposit of economic size. First off , the primary iron formation must be of sufficient size. It is at Felix  - it is extensive!. Secondly , the iron formation must have sufficient structurally induced permeability to allow circulation of hydrothermal solutions through a significant portion of the iron formation.  At Felix we see a massive s-curve/drag fold which should have dramatically fractured and sheared the iron formation during deformation.  Finally the gold bearing hydrothermal solutions must efficiently deposit  their gold in conjunction with  the deposition of sulphides . At Felix we hope this has occurred as is evidenced by an  extensive area of significant magnetic destruction ( replacement of magnetite by sulphides ( pyrite  pyrrhotite ,arsenopyrite etc.)  as suggested on the  VSR magnetics . This process is also reinforced by a series of stong IP/Electromagnetic conductor anomalies ( massive sulphides) running along the axis of the S-curve/drag fold. Again, Felix  contains a dozen of these anomalies  running within   the iron formation - coincidence?

These three components are quite compelling  at Felix - all this is present at the Lupin Mine ( 4+ million ounces)  but there was ample outcrop at that location.

The visuals will tell the story .!! I will be looking for quartz veins ( fracturing ) alteration ( hydrothermal solutions)  and a lot of sulphides ( replacement of magnetite by hdyothermal solutions) and of course , evidence of the iron formation itself preferably with bedded sulphides. The more sulphide - the better -we shall see - remember if there was evidence of any of the above in outcrop  - this prospect would have been drilled off decades ago!!

This is a good shot.  It is NOT the old Felix ( numerical error).  VSR is due for good news . NOT to get everyone excited but I have a good feeling about this one IMHO

Thanks Garland,  for the background on Felix.   In your 3rd paragraph you answered the concern about the the iron formation being of sufficient size.   The comparison to the Lupin mine (4M oz)  is also intriguing.  Its a very good comparison as the host rocks are so similar.   This is what you get when a geologist is on board.  Some real insight without the ...more

Thank you garland.  Your perspective is always very much appreciated.

well img would be the first to know and would, (would have ) taken out vsr in a flash. Imo.

Unless they take us out to dinner we have to accept the offer. They simply can't "take us out" and we the shareholders decide

space doc do you think your position in vsr is the deciding factor
Comment by SPACEDOC on Sep 16, 2021 9:43am
me and another 49% of the shareholders
Comment by unclebobby on Sep 16, 2021 9:51am
so 51% is majority

I own about 1%
