Looks like a hint of fresh air has entered into the stuffy confines of the IMG Bod at last.  The collaboration with RCF seems promising and one can only hope  there will be a change of mandate for the company.   While it is very early days my thinking is this will be very positive for IMG.   This could be the turning point  for IMG being a dull boring but asset loaded gold

yup they are going to need something in a safe jurisdiction cote used to be Trelawny mining that I owned priror to IMG takeover. was taken out for a premium of 40%  VSR is going to have to go for a lot higher than that considering current share price edmed

Otehr option is Iamgold sells their 75% interest in nelligan.  I agree thought that it looks like Iamgold will focus on safer jurisdictional mines.
