Salt

I'm having trouble figuring out why this isn't the preferred route to invest in SALT. Even with all warrants included, and not taking into account the cash on hand, with the current price of Salt is the market not valuing all of Vulcan's assets at less than zero? Tell me what I'm missing.

I agree and have been a long term holder of VUL and have added to my VUL position along wwith SALT since the Red Moon (Atlas) spinout. I think VUL will catch up with SALT in apprication (percentage wise) once feasibilty study is done. I think if SALT hits 3.00 then you could see VUL at $1.00 and from there maintain that percenage of price at around 1/3.   So no doubt in my view that VUL ...more

Jethro, I agree, VUL will lag but keep moving up as SALT moves up, look at SALT today, already $1.84 on over 300,000 shares, the big boys are starting to buy SALT..... VUL will play but the big, big, big exit will be when SALT gets acuqired and a massive cash injection is transferred to VUL, it could be $100 M if SALT continues its upward path to be acquired. Just think what VUL could do with that ...more

HI lifegoeson Just think what VUL could do with that kind of cash. i would hope keep 20 to 30% and pay the rest to shareholders in a 75+ cent dividend.
