Frontier Energy Buyout

Are people thinking that the buyout won't go through?  The buyout price was nearly a 100% increase to Friday's close but shares are only up 33% this AM. Am I missing something?

Frontier doesn't trade on the TSX. They're probably pulling out of Canada. With current critical mineral shortage I don't know how these aussies are getting away with taking the highest grade zinc mine in North America out of Canadians' hands. A lot of back room handshake deals going on with these shady Aussie companies. Write your MP!

I agree that it looks like they are moving out of Canada and get your point re: critical minerals held overseas. At the same time  if you use a brokerage that allows trading stocks on the ASX, the current share price of WHE makes it compelling to buy and hold for the takeover. Even factoring in currency conversions and the associated fees with ASX stocks there is still money to be made.

Frontier is worth 101M Whe is worth 40M their current market valuation is closer to 5.5 cents per share I don't know how they concluded the 8 cent price. Maybe they're bad at math or perhaps just trying to swindle shareholders again.
