Look if your looking at magnesium there's been companies years ahead of this one check out the %,s on this sight https://3rmineral.com/en/service/valorization-of-mineral-reserves/ We use to be number 3 producer until Noranda shut down magnolia plant. Thetford mines already has 200 million tons shovel ready. The land holder are Mazarin and AB corp and is the parent company to 3Rminerals ...more

Yep, Canadian government seems to favor private investment. Do some research on Alliance magnesium...it's a good intro into how the government works. If you can stomach the hypocrisy and favortism. Rail, roads and power were built in BC to support these mines.... but now are used for tourists to go to towns like Rossland to buy made in china key chains and magnets. How much taxes and jobs ...more

Thanks MoneyK I appreciate the interview link. Looks like the PEA is close.I was born in Rossland so I have a keen interest in the area.
Comment by MoneyK on Nov 22, 2022 5:52pm
My pleasure. Btw, its a PFS, which should be more robust than a PEA. MoneyK
Comment by gordo323 on Nov 22, 2022 7:31pm
Hi MomeyK He does mention the PEA in the interview at the 15.46 mark.
Comment by MoneyK on Nov 22, 2022 7:48pm
They are talking about the PEA that was completed years ago.  The PFS coming out should be more precise in nature. MoneyK

PFS is due soon. Interview mentioned ore sales will generate $100M/a net cashflow once the quarry mine is approved. PFS NPV and IRR will be top decile. Possible production  this summer but government approval may take forever lol.

Regardless if they mine in 2023 or even 2024, market cap does not reflect the future cash flows.   IMO MoneyK

Agreed MoneyK

Belardo, Ridiculous... Thetford and Alliance are asbestos laden. Costly to mine and process, and hazardous materials. Good luck with these. Try out the Aussie flyash Co for another of these variants.  Baymag has a low cost deposit and seems good but there is room for two. Not much info on Baymag but it seems focused on non-structural so both have large niches.

It's Balardo! Ridiculous? I like to be diversified in Magnesium, Latrob could end up being a good buy too. If you want to invest in Baymag ( privat) you would buy shares in Timken.  I did not invest in Mazarin mainly for Magnesium, the 37-42% MGO was just an extra added bonus. I invested in them cause of Nickel the amount of cash they have in the bank, over 4000 acres of combined ...more

Government works in mysterious ways. I'll take any money the government wants to hand over but when it comes to them being involved in projects or being a major investor I get very nervous. Just for fun take a look at projects the government bought or granted and shareholders got screwed. Mines with asbestos beware: https://youtu.be/JwYTvUNKqVI Canadian government wants Albert to keep ...more
