I'm an avid reader but for some reason I can't make heads or tails of the point your trying to get accross. Please explain yourself more clearly.

To appreciate this you have to know a little chemistry. Magnesium is very common in the Earth's crust but it is always in an oxidized state, never pure... Think of the red rust which comes from iron compared to the pure metal. The elemental metal iron is valuable but the rust is not ....yet contains the elemental metal iron that, when purified, has value. Same with magnesium. From what I could
