Just more of the same(fluff)... "For instance, in December 2020 Western Magnesium Corporation declared that it has reached a point in its development when the Sales and Corporate Partnerships Division can be formed.Western Magnesium Corporation officially engages with firms in a variety of industries, including automotive, aerospace, green technology, the US Government, and the Department of ...more

In the last Zoom meeting Management already claimed they had proof of concept so thet are on the hook already. Just because there are so many non believers doesn't mean they don't have the ability to produce green Magnesium. They do and they said they did. This latest news release maybe fluff to you  with your uneducated mind to the facts but to many it's a very exciting fact that ...more

The metal is a result from a partial test charge being conducted in order to identify any operational deficiencies prior to a full ...more

That's exactly right. They KNOW they have the ability to produce green Magnesium. What they did then was build a much bigger one that was able to do it in a continuous way. That's whatis taking so long it's a huge and expensive undertaking. They are at the point of having completed this process and are getting it evaluated. Then we have posters like you that don't understand this ...more

I understand how much risk is left to prove out even their pilot plant. How much more time and money are you prepared to give them? If their test reactor was active 4.5 years ago what's the hold up?. They said they were waiting on a few parts for the new plant awhile ago and would commission them as they went along, do you know what parts they are? Is it the reactor itself? I see more endless ...more

The parts came last month and were installed and testing of the whole system was started as stated in a previous news release. This month has been allocated for that testing and the production of Magnesium at the end of this month. There is a huge differance between the pilot plant and the equipment that they have now. This is where you are confusing the process. The smoke and mirrors are in your ...more

Converting fly ash to Magnesium, an unproven experiment. Kind of like the people that want to extract gold from sea water or changing your DNA to create a cybor creature of AI. I wonder if the opperation is Green at the end of the day?

-About Latrobe Magnesium Latrobe Magnesium is developing a magnesium production plant in Victoria's Latrobe Valley using its worldfirst patented extraction process. LMG intends to extract and sell magnesium metal and cementitious material from industrial fly ash, which is currently a waste stream from the Yallourn brown coal power generation. -LMG is one of the lowest CO2 emitters in the ...more

Apples to orange. 60 % reduction leaves 40% toxins WMG is green, near zero toxins. Funny how you pump another company with no proven track record yet you bash WMG.

https://alliancemagnesium.com/en/alliance-magnesium-lowest-greenhouse-gas-generator-in-the-world/ Another plant in Canada with lowest emissions in the world, pilot plant done, FULLY PATENTED process using tailings form asbestos. I'm just pulling these from links in WMG'S press release from today.
Comment by stockprobe19 on May 10, 2022 6:58pm
The lowest CO2 emissions in the world just slightly lower than China, just. What about the rest of the toxins? If China had the dirtiest metal production were they actually talking about CO2?  Not sure why you bold typed patented? That doesn't make it more profitable or clean or anything else. It doesn't even protect you from copying.
Comment by RawSienna on May 10, 2022 7:33pm
you asked ..."do you see anyone claiming to be making the same thing anywhere in the world?" And I gave you some examples linked from today's news release. Can you provide some links to WMG'S CO2 emissions as most of the the old plants especially in China are/were powered by coal.

That PR was from Feb 2021 and was also the last one the company released. Why haven't they provided an update in over a year. Seems fishy
Comment by stockprobe19 on May 10, 2022 8:17pm
That's the thing you didn't provide me with any company producing green Magnesium. Like I said comparing apples to oranges.
Comment by stockprobe19 on May 10, 2022 8:26pm
I would love to see where the asbestos really ends up in their process. Knowing the government involvement it can't be too good. Another Quebec cover up??
Comment by Bingbong87 on May 10, 2022 10:34pm
Either way, WMC doubled down on their timeline in todays PR. That appearance on Fox is very bullish as well. I think the moment has arrived
Comment by KonnectTheDots on May 11, 2022 12:51pm
Yes agree, the Fox bit is a good sign. Every peice of information and deadline that they make public makes it less probable that they won't deliver without hurting their brand and thereby investor confidence. A few other indirect observations makes one think that 'something' is up. - after a year of (mostly pointless) discussion on the discord it is suddenly pulled, wonder why now? - ...more

Yes you are right about the level of commitment of claiming what they have. The silence usually is associated with some kind of news release and the potential of a slip of the tongue during conversation. The Fox news video maybe a preparation to a news release to open more eyes to the event. I have to say Sam looked pretty excited during the interview. It's a good thing Sam has ears otherwise ...more

Yes Sam looked and sounded very positive, don't think he would put his credibility on the line if they weren't close and he never has until now. I do disagree with your opinion on profitability: I'm not concerned about the Magnesium production being profitable because one of the major problems most producers are having is cleaning up the polution caused from the production of ...more

I think the transportation of unfinished product (ore) would be more expensive. Isn't the ultimate plan to locate the plant near a dolomite deposit in north east Nevada. There is a rail head near by based on my historical discussions with Ed Leee
Comment by KonnectTheDots on May 11, 2022 9:00pm
They have said that they will not mine the Tami Mosi property but will hold on to it in case they have problems sourcing suitible ore. Back in the Nevada Clean Magnesium days though that was the plan. Subsequently under the WMG name they have said there is lots of Dolomite all over and that was one of the criteria for the Ohio location.
Comment by Sherry35 on May 12, 2022 2:31pm
KTDots - Thank you for the informative update on the sourcing of dolomite ore. Very defensive move.
