Sounds nice...but

So at least they tell us the pilot plant will be used to produce saleable metal at some point in the future.  We sort of already knew that but it confirms that there doesn't appear to be any big surprises during their optimization phase..  That's good.  But of course they don't say when continuous production will commence which leads me to believe it's still much further away than they want to admit.  I mean if they have it nailed down why not announce that continuous processing will commence in a week or two weeks or a month or something like that? Obviously they don't know. So what do they say?  "The Commercial Pilot Plant will be ready to enter a continuous phase setting the stage for continuous metal production."

Ready to enter a continuous phase setting the stage for?   Setting the stage for.... You mean the stage hasn't even been set yet? What the heck is a "stage" in this context?  WTF?  The plant itself is going through a phase?  It's not even good English.  Honestly I don't know what it means and when you read something like this it is worded purposely to leave you with nothing tangible.  Kids out there listening, pay attention here. There is a real skill to talking a lot and saying nothing. If you can master it you will go far.  The true believers will invent whatever they want out of it but if you were looking for a concrete answer as to a when, and how much type of press release, this wasn't it.   And I would add the stock price reflects the continued uncertainty. The market just can't stop yawning.  More dilution coming and all to garner another hundred grand

I agree with what you are saying. I think the statement by Sam, "discussions with the end users have been escalated and we are working with end users to supply magnesium metal from our Commercial Pilot Plant.”, says they are ready to sell product in the near future and which equipment will supply it. Not sure about the where part as equipment can be moved.

SP - The commerical plant will have to be moved given my point on "receiving bay" constrained. To support the continuous production of Mg will require a stockpile area and heavy equipment (loader, conveyor system). All this will require money. What is the estimated daily production out of the pilot plant? How many tons of ore is required per day to support the estimated daily production ...more

Sherry, asking questions according to Stockprobe is 'sowing the seeds of discontent'. He can be ignored as he has done nothing but pump since day one, never being objective or logical and lashing out at anyone that questions the confusing news (actually non news) coming from this company. He does nothing but agree with everything the company puts out as if it is unquestionable, given his ...more

The timing of the release is a hint.  Just before the AGM. What a coincidence. Nebulous, contradictory, indefinite. The first NR mentioned 25000 MT purchase agreement the second one 'CPP ready for continuous production' leading people to assume they are connected.    'CCMA is securing 25,000 metric tonnes for purchase from future production from our main plant ...more

Speaking of timing, year end finacials due in a week or so as they are currently on an extension right now.

Questions???? KTD I can find the same questions you ask probably weekly in the last year. If you really wanted answers you would call the company and get the facts from the company directly. Instead you are sowing seeds of discontent by repeating the same questions over and over again. Some questions clearly can not be answered because of the stage that WMG is at. The questions that aren't ...more
