So what is Western Magnesium's goal?
Western Magnesium's goal is to be a low-cost producer of green, primary magnesium metal. Seems pretty clear. And what have they said about reaching this goal? WASHINGTON, D.C. - TheNewswire - October 18, 2021
but also for the 100,000 metric tonne commercial plant being built in Ohio. That was never mentioned again, now it's talking about moving the CPP to Nevada and building a new R&D facility: WASHINGTON, D.C. – TheNewswire - February 21, 2023
the commercial Pilot Plant will be moved from its current site and moved to a new Research & Development facility The obvious thing to do at this stage would be to build a production plant.
It may not be perfect but at least it would prove commercial viability, generate revenue, increase the stock price as people would see actual evidence that the concept works giving confidence that they can do what they say.
Build it and they will come.
Any sane person would see that this is imperative and the fact that it isn't being done shows that it can't. After all the glowing accolades the directors have given in news releases about how fantastic the
results of the technology are they still talk about more research and development.
That's a clue as to where it actually is. Executive Chairman, Ed Lee, states, “The proprietary technology and software, which has been built specifically for our green process, is truly one of a kind. Our technology represents America’s best chance at bringing production of the much sought after magnesium metal,
The value of our technical and software upgrades gives Western Magnesium the ability to have a full package solution for the licensing of our technology in the near future. Our proprietary technology is a one-stop solution for providing a green critical metal locally and globally. One stop solution?
So why isn't it being done?
Instead of actually putting their process into production and making this a real company they talk about developing new alloys?
How about just making magnesium in commercial quantities first? and to develop new alloys and IP with the different industries we are currently in discussions with such as the automotive, aerospace, airline, eco-friendly technology companies and Defense Contractors. Their most important goal right now is to fulfill their initial mission statement: Western Magnesium's goal is to be a low-cost producer of green, primary magnesium metal. Their first and most important goal is to prove commercial viability, profitability and ensure the survival of the company. Without that they have nothing.
All the other BS they blather on about is just that, destraction and painting some rosey picture for the gullible.
Instead constanly moving the goalposts.
Feels like the donkey following the carrot hanging on the end of a stick (just in case anyone doesn't get the analogy, we are the donkey) This statement just buys them time, another decade to stall and collect salaries. the commercial Pilot Plant will be moved from its current site and moved to a new Research & Development facility Does anyone believe things will move any faster than they have to this point?
''Waiting patiently'' describes it perfectly.
In the summer of 2021 everyone was looking forward to the building of the production plant. NEW YORK, NY - TheNewswire - TheNewswire - August 23, 2021
Sam Ataya, Executive President & CEO states, “Being ahead of schedule will help us produce the data and analytics regarding magnesium production which is important for our planned Ohio site and breaking ground in eighteen months. Now people will be exstatic if they can just get this thing trading again.
Talk about lowering expectations.
So they have laid out the roadmap, pump more investors money into moving the CPP to Nevada, building a new R&D facility and paying rediculous salaries, benefits and expenses with zero chance of getting any return on investment for an indefinate period of time.
So what is everyone waiting for?
Anyone that doesn't dive in with both feet is crazy!
This is the opportunity of a lifetime.
What we need now is more pumping (groveling?) Comment by stockprobe19on May 03, 2022 12:01pm

RE:Memo
Just think at the end of this month Magnesium will pour out of our new technology at WMG after over 10 years of effort. Here we are at that last few feet of the race towards the finish line. That line will be the beginning of another new journey and a new focus, living the dream of their vision! Call this fact whatever you like but it doesn't change that reality.
Thank you WMG, all of the team players, whatever your contribution is, for all you have done, regardless of the outcome,........ regardless of the outcome......... because your belief , determination, endurance over all of these years, never has wavered on this journey to your dream of reaching this point coming upon us now. Thank you all! Coming apon us now?
And ''regardless of the outcome.......regardless of the outcome''
Huh, is that how everyone here feels?
Yah we don't care if we ever make money (or lose everything) we are in it for their belief, determination, endurance (and of course pulling down half a million a year)
We are overjoyed to fund your dream!
Truly idiotic and such a suck up.
It's always fun to look back and see how rediculous things look in hindsight. Comment by stockprobe19on May 11, 2022 1:13pm

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:News release. Complete waste of shareholder money
Yes you are right about the level of commitment of claiming what they have. The silence usually is associated with some kind of news release and the potential of a slip of the tongue during conversation. The Fox news video maybe a preparation to a news release to open more eyes to the event. I have to say Sam looked pretty excited during the interview. It's a good thing Sam has ears otherwise that smile would of wrapped right around his head! I'm not concerned about the Magnesium production being profitable because one of the major problems most producers are having is cleaning up the polution caused from the production of Magnesium. The issue would be the cost of transportation of finished product, something they don't have to worry about because they can set up anywhere. It's getting very close!
Now here is a guy who has a lot of experience in business and manufacturing.
Not concerned about profitability?
Getting very close?
To what?
Cease trade?
Going into R&D phase?
Right.
Oh yah, better get the eggs ready cus we are getting very close.
