My explanation -

i think the stock was shorted a while back when it was in the around the $2 range. In my opinion it may have been shorted by those involved in the $2M financing that closed recently. They knew they would get their shares at $1.1...why not short at the top and make money on the way down as well....

I personally think that we have seen the bottom....i think the shorted shares are almost covered....it may dip below $1 momentarily...but will soon see it go up. I think it will be in around the $3 range before the financing close...and then go up to $5 after the announcement....unless of course a buyout comes along and then all bets are off.

What would the buyout be? WND has come a very long way, and the longs that have been on this rollercoaster for the past 3 years either want out and/or really want to see the "potential" in this company realized (and I don't mean just the finance closing, but revenues being generated from the new projects). I had emailed Jeff about 3 weeks ago about whether or not the project was on ...more

Excellent post, Xtrykr...your thoughts are most appreciated.I agree...people *are* getting impatient. But this recent drop down to a 52 week low was almost foretold by that sudden intra-day .40 drop to $1 a few months back. In some ways we've just now closed the gap.I'm thinking of adding more shares if we do dip into the .90s. I would much prefer to see bid support flood in around $1 ...more
