Western Wind Energy Corp > DAI's assessment of WND value...

DAI's assessment of WND value...

...should be coming very soon. On Feb 25th, as part of the press release of the Fair Market Valuation of the Windstar Project it was written that "management expects DAI to complete the balance of the remaining assets of WND within the next 4 weeks".  That 4 week period ends this friday, and we have not heard otherwise that the assessment is delayed.

I sincerely hope this info is released by friday, as explicitly suggested by management. Also, I cannot see how it will be anything but favourable to WND investors.

Yes it should confirm at least a $6 NAV which makes todays shareprice a ridiculous bargain. Time to top up before the big run up. The big boys will be arriving shortly.

your right eljoro BUT... they also said by the end of q1 we should have all the details about the share buyback, todays the 23rd they got 1 week left, dont you think they are cutting it close (assuming they respect their deadline)? i hope they make me chew my words but from the looks of it, it aint gonna happen anytime soon, q2 would be my guess, heck we`ve been patient all this time what`s ...more

Hey Studpuppy (love that handle!):WND has a history of missing announced projected dates, mostly with respect to the closing of the financing of Windstar. Ultimately they have come through and done WHAT was promised, just not always WHEN it was promised. It used to bug me more than it currently does, simply because the financing of Windstar (and Kingman II) will ultimately turn this company into a ...more

Well, it looks like that 4 week timeframe suggested on Feb 25th for the release of DAI's remaining Fair Market Valuation of WND's assets will have come and gone without the information being released. Unless we get something after the close, on a friday.I don't doubt it's going to be released soon. I don't doubt it's going to be favourable to WND shareholders but I do ...more

no eljoro your not alone!! but this board (wnd) is like the stock market, i remember back in november & december people wanted jeff`s head then they came out with some nr`s and promises and the sp started going up and all of a sudden jeff was a hero again, now they are not delivering as promised (they still got a week) but im not holding my breath and the mood here is starting to change again! ...more

Although I yearn for news on this front, I actually do not mind the delay as the market has shrugged off a bit in lieu of the events in Libya and Japan. We would probably get a better pop in Q2/Q3 when the turmoil subsides.

the markets have bounced back pretty well since the earthquake and the events in lybia, now if you think the turmoil will subside well you will be in for a rude awakening, the question is who`s next? Syria? Saudi arabia? name any arabe country they could be next, so if wnd is waiting for blue sky`s to release news well that could take a while.... so they should just go on with business and stop ...more
