I do not understand how you can claim the transformer soaking is an amateur mistake. It is part of the implementation. The transformer is soaked to remove any excess air and moisture trapped inside the insulating material and windings; and helps improve IR value of the transformer. This normally takes a couple of days. The only issue I see is the substation breakers tripping, which I believe, ...more
