TECHNICALLY...

200-DAY Moving Average still on rise @ 1.67.

SP, 50-DAY AND 10-DAY MA's ALL still above 200.

Support holding @ 1.75.

For what it's worth, ValueEngine rates the stock undervalued. They are not current in their info but rate it a HOLD with a current value of $3.10.

Today's news did nothing, not even spark a little volume. We could use a little marketing.

Ching, I don't think you understand what the "news" was. It is merely an announcement that we were on of the Top 50 performers on the Venture. We came in third in the clean tech sector. I am not sure how you see trailing performance as news. I just see it as something that might finally make people stop whining and realize that WND has been a good investment, even though it wasn' ...more

Sorry Sultan...but my Globe InvestorGOLD, upon which I rely as do many others, classified this as NEWS. As such , it shoud draw ATTENTION. Something the company is not able to do on its own , unfortunately. Also, it is not TRAILING news, it is CURRENT. Whiners you say ? If this stock (not the company) doesn't deserve the critisism it receives, I honestly don't know which one does. With all ...more

Yes, it goes into the news feed because it is a news publication mentioning the company. This is not company news release. This is put out by the venture showing  that you had the number 3 stock on the venture in its field for return. I can suggest a litany other stocks deserving of more criticism. You would think that any stock with a negative return would fit your criteria (not an ...more

PRICELESS !!!!   You want to look at y-o-y. ?? Seriously ??   On January 1, 2004 (11 years ago) , this stock was trading over $3.50. You do the math, bud. I rest my case. 'Your first mistake', gimme a giant break !!!   Ching.

Not only that but look at the appreciation. This was all due to the AQn bid otherwise we would still be at 1.30 or 1.40 and even now we struggle to get to 1.90. As a long term holder I am not impressed with figures we are number 3 but in reality we struggle  to move where we should be with management support.

Possibly the most uninformed response ever. You cannot look at non producing companies in this field or mining for that matter and expect a straight line up. There are often capital injections required to take projects to completion and then to obtain cashflow. So yes, 11 years ago the share price may have been 3.50, but how many shares were out? And by the way y-o-y was what the venture " ...more

@Sultan -- I totally agree with your assessment and correlation to the company life-cycle from a start-up venture to a full-blown, revenue producing company. I believe this is the calm before the storm, and am expecting a huge drive in the coming weeks, as I do believe Windstar should be very close to up and running (assuming the SCE grid outages were resolved on Tuesday), and that the cash grant ...more

You are right Xtrykr0, not necessarily a senior listing. A US listing is a possibility too. I just expect some kind of listing news to precede the Windstar news as it would make a bigger splash when that does come down if we are on the newswire of the TSX, or Nasdaq, etc. And yes, just an educated speculation, no hard evidence.
