Timber

No idea why the stock is getting butchered the way it is the past 2 weeks. Markets are bullish, and we got a lot of good news just around the corner. I'm more concerned now that the news will not do anything to the stock performance. Wonder if there are any institutional investors working in the background to invest in WND.

Again, in my mind, too much uncertainty. And we know what markets do with that. I know you guys have a lot of respect for Lawrence but he needs to do a better job of SELLING  this company to potential investors. I don't think he has done a good job of that, evidenced by the weak volume, day after day. Is P.I. still sitting @ 1.77 ? They could be helping their cause today by driving ...more

Do you think the stock is still being manipulated? Or do you think investors are just getting tired of waiting? Problem is we do not have any analysts following the stock and promoting it. Algonquin thought it was worth $2.50 many months ago before Windstar and Kingman were completed. It should be worth more now shouldn't it?

Yes and No. Remember, the AQN offer was at a premium, I imagine at whatever the 1 year forward earnings would be, so at the time, maybe a 20-25% premium from $2.00.   The reality is, we're sitting here, sinking, not quite like how the titanic sunk, but overtime, there will be no more life rafters left, and someone is poised to manipulate this down further and setup another hostile ...more

In other words you get all the good news for free and the upside is still ahead. Time to buy.

Impega, ever the optimist :) I'm in the same boat as you, but I'm wearing a life jacket! :)

J_mart, until someone starts promoting this stock, we are going nowhere. I knew a stock promoter in the early 90's who promoted the bejeezus out of a Biomed company and ran the stock up above $10 when in fact it didn't deserve to be there...yet.  He made a living this way since he was not on salary, but was paid in stock. He then moved on to another company, this time in mining ...more

Ching, are you saying we should become a pump and dump stock?
Comment by ching819 on Feb 23, 2012 4:08pm
No, not at all, Impega. What I am saying is that, when you have a good story to tell, you tell it. The rest takes care of itself. You could have the best product in the world, but if you don't advertise, there are few buyers. Simple as that. I bought into this company many years ago because I liked their story, AND , of course, it fit my T.A. criteria. After 8 years, this stock is a ...more

Perhaps the industry is out of favour? I note that Algonquin is also a half bagger over the same time frame so we are not alone.

THE VISIONAIRE PROMISED ALL STOCKHOLDERS THE PRICE WOULD EXCEED THE ALGONQUIN OFFER.  TALK ABOUT A  FREE PASS. WHY DON"T YOU JUST GIVE JESUS YOUR STOCK.

Maybe they should drill for oil and rename themselves Western Energy Corp. The oilies have bounced back from their troubles last year
Comment by ching819 on Feb 23, 2012 5:48pm
Ahhh thanks Impega. I just split my gut laughing. I needed  that.   Ching.

Next time this POS goes up I'm my last 50% is sold.   Suckered again by WND.   How sad.

The frustration remains. Iam frustrated and agree that I don't believe that Jeff And company are doing or care about the stock price.  I don't see any promotion and hear the same excuses and bs over and over. I have been here so long the spider webs are beginning to show and I don't know howl much longer this can go on but........ Lets keep this in mind and try to have just a ...more

Well, at least the insider selling (or major shareholder selling) was absent today. Perhaps this storm is over? Again, it is critical we keep the SP at the very least at levels that can intimidate and prevent any takeover bids. The way it's drifting, we're just opening ourselves up to vultures.
