Western Wind Energy Corp > now that was some CC....

now that was some CC....

... most CC's i listen too are well kinda like watching paint dry..

.. but holy moly pass the canoli..

.. i wonder if we owners are soon to see a full blown public fight and proxy fight

.. a veritable corporate donnybrook seems to have spilled out into public view today

...i'm guessing whoever wants WND is desperately concerned that the 15% dilution of shares to whomever will lock them up in jeffy's concern and prevent whatever plan was in play... very intrigueing... price action post CC not great but jeffy needs to really shine over the next few months

..ps anyone got real colour on that $40M rev statement, was that in 2012 WND will generate $40M or summin else, cause if it's $40M the run rate seems a bit odd particularly in WND is supposed to do +$19M in the first 6 months which would put Q2 at +$14M or am i missing summin here.

19M in revenue for Q1 and Q2 est $40M in revenue for 2012 - which means Q3 and Q4 at $21M.  Remember Windstar is was FULLY operational end of March, but operating since early 2012.  I assume the difference is due to seasonal variance.

I think the 40M is being conservative.

Well I didn't want to step in here but..   5+14+15+16=50... Seeing how we are going to have record breaking quarters. Disclaimer : I am not a mathematical genious. Please tell me what I am missing.   Ching.                 Ching.

Jeff did say that the price received for mega watts was tied to the price of natural gas but how that works was not clear but I think it had to do with the fact that NG has been rising in price.

Ching, bingo that's what i be talking about.   i agree with you and i posted my post to see if there was any intelligent life on this MB.  on the simple face of it the numbers and the yakkity yak don't seem to confluence completely, maybe we both missed something. PS seems my math re. 2012 and the $78M was pretty bang on.  seems my concern about additional restricted cash ...more

Nakate, thanks for posting that I missed it during the call.  if true that again is somewhat troubling.  as best my memory serves me that used to be a key element in old PPA's which to me always left WND's price linked to the price of natgas.  i was under the impression that WND was and had implemented fixed price contracts like $x/mega watt hour with some sortof inflation ...more

Sulltan,   that would be nice for a change forever, but there were a number of sugarplum statements made today that makes that unlikely, like 7 Q of record revenue (or something like that) and ... i cringe when management's of small companies go out on future promises limbs.. those limbs often break (can we all say SIB by ya my lord SID by ya) and all of managements attempts at throwing ...more

wow, I'm impressed you estimated the monthly interest expense so well... it's the first time you put up your 1.75M estimate but hey, I have no problem with that...LOL You should really stop using that language, seriously, it makes you look a lot less intelligent than you probably are.  and dude, I really know what DSRA, MRA, full load hours,...  mean for WND and I'm also ...more

so tart now backtracking posts this: <> but you did attack other posters who are very concerned about their investment in WND (and rightfully so i add), you did claim to be experienced (or is that expert) in windfarm financing and then you did a whack job cashflow calculation that missed some simple things a) WND has more restricted cash issues (and you quite frankly should know this if you ...more

yep, I backtracked... because regardless of the fact that you do know a thing about windfarm financing, you didn't give me your back of the enveloppe calculations and suddenly came up with a number. Next time I'll ask for permission. I always wrote I was open for discussion about for exemple the Q cashflow after interest but instead of starting a discussion, there was some name-throwing ...more
