You can move shares of WND from your Margin Acct into your TFSA @ $2.09 (low of day) as long as it is done before midnight.

 

e.g. $5000/2.09 = 2392 shares. A nice paper non-taxable gain of $478, assuming a close of $2.29.

I did someting like that a few weeks ago at 2.06, sold something else bought wnd and then watched the other stock rally 20 cents arrg but I fgured this was a no brainer and would be worth it no matter what.    Things are heating up,  hang on tight

Yup Nakate, been there done that but I think this one is pretty well idiot proof. Unfortunately I already made my contribution on January 2nd so I am maxed out. I was thinking of others here.   Ching.

you can over contribute into your tfsa but are subject to a 3 percent charge per month on your over contribution Example  This year you put in your 5k and tou decided because this puppy is goiny to the moon you put anothe 5 k into your tfsa   You would pay a penalty of 150.00 per month from the time you over contributed This would stop Jan 1 2013 So your 5k would cost you $600.00

Actually, Peter, the penalty is only 1% per month so it makes it very enticing. Thanks for posting.   Ching.
