What I dont understand

Why does'nt Savitr just sell their shares to Brookfield for 2.50, if thats the most they think they can get for their shares?? Because so fare thats the only point they have made about the sell. Right now, we all know that they will lose the poxy vote at a landside. So why are they draging this thing out... its just so annoying, their press releases have no real information and or outline. For everyones best interest they should bow out gracefully like a big boy, so the market will have no cause for concern about the sell and the current board find the best buyer for the highest price.

apart from current management inferring that $2.50 is dissident target sale price can anyone provide a source which validates this claim? i'm not sure why everyone assumes Savatr will sell at $2.50 apart from management's weak connection to a sell-side report (for which i give no value)... if i put my faith in sell-side estimates I would have bought WND back at $3 when current management ...more

And yes we all have access because like Savitr their advisors cannot control their send finger and end up sending their "secret" touts to the broader market ...more

disidents along with aqn have had the feeling that on or around the dimise of Timminco post 34.00 and falling to  nil that all investors would bail on green tech Surely wise money would avoid the carnage as the domino theory of there is never one cockroach would cause the entire industry to be painted with the same brush Eric Sprott did not come and save TIM he let it crash and burn, nor ...more

peter75 is spot on regarding a price floor of $2.25 as that's what Brookfield bid, and indeed I don't think they'll not get a refund if the price goes lower.  Brookfield is also pretty sophisticated so they would have a good idea on how to value a peers in the industry.  Jeff has also indicated that Brookfield has approached him regarding the possibility of a preferrential ...more

one must remember these sites going fwd are going to be gold as govts will not be handing out too many more sites but in time existing sites that will not have to go through all the hurdles of gaining permits will be the overall winners Keep in mind that in 30 plus years the technology will probably allow for 20 times generation increase as things become more sophisticated in my ho Further 2.25 is ...more
