Wind Energy’s assets include 560 wind turbines and a solar field that generates 165 MW of rate capacity.   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~   Each wind turbine is worth how much to buy and then install, hook up to the grid, dial them all in  buy or lease a land package. Don't touch the green proxies, throw them in your trash or feed them to your dog, and if you don't have a dog then buy one with the money you're about to make once we get over $4 per share. Talk about a desperate waste of resources on savitoasts' behalf...

In general, pricing for a utility-scale wind turbine is $1m per MW, and roughly $1.5m all-in, installed.  But that's not the right way to value a wind company; you need to look at the net present value of the revenue from the 20 years of operation from each project, then factor in the debt load.

I just told you what the cost to purchase and install are -- development costs are pretty small compared to project construction.  And most turbines owned by WND are not 1 MW, they're larger so they are multi-million dollar machine.  Bear in mind that this equipment depreciates in value over time and by the end of their useful life, they're only worth as much as scrap or ...more
