AGM

The Meeting Chairman has to go through the full agenda and allow for discussion from the floor. There will be votes on all the items and those who have been assigned proxies of others will have to substantiate their representation claims and vote their proxies.

An independent form like a trust company usually tabulates votes and often does not give an official count for days, although tentative vote totals will likely be known at the meeting itself.

The meeting does not start until 1pm EDT, apparently:

"NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the annual general meeting (the “Meeting”) of holders of common shares (“Common Shares”) of Western Wind Energy Corp. (“Western Wind” or the “Corporation”) will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver, 791 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, V6C 2T4, on September 25, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. (Vancouver Time)"

The best hope for the quickest information, and I believe the some Hedge Funds will do this, is to have someone at the meeting with a computer or a cellphone giving a play-by-play description of the votes. I would not be surprised if some people use that information to try to game the Market even though there is no good evidence that the shares should move lower, depending upon who wins (for ...more
