MLK day and the management circular

Interesting to note that tomorrow marks the one week deadline before the Brookfield bid expires. Management has indicated shareholders will receive an update at least one week before the bid expires advising shareholders what they think we should do vis a vis the Brookfield bid. But tomorrow is MLK day in the US and the US markets are closed. Do we think we will see a sunday night news release?

Just curious. If something comes out tonight I won't see it til tomorrow anyways...I'm on stage tonight with Gordon Lightfoot!   Pinch me, I must be dreaming,,,

Cheers,

El Joro

My guess.  Press Release late Sunday Vancouver time. It will ask us all to be patient as bids will come in a few weeks. ie, more of the same mgmt delay stuff.  Ideal would be a $3.50 deal with Brookfield or someone else, but I stopped believing after last week's Press Release which just lowered the perception of a great deal coming. Mgmt has had 7 months....doesn't take that long ...more

I agree that whatever WND says has to be significant, and not just more "trust us" horse manure. Getting down to the wire now.

Spot on Blkbartt25, no more delays, it worries me and makes me suspicious why this sale  is dragging on so long, its the same old ...same old. if WND management is not carefull and Brookfield decides to offer $3.00, and sets a short deadline to tender shares, there may be no need for management to continue the sale.
