Brookfield is playing with OPM

OPM=other people's money. They are not necessarily in a hurry. They are stronger hands than individual investors and the amount of money they have in WND is not significant to them, especially if it leads to them getting assets that they want. I can't know their plan, other than to get WND assets for the lowest possible price...because that is their fiduciary duty to their shareholders, just like WND's Directors have a duty to get us the most money they can. Brookfield has played this much better than WND and hiring Rothschild in the first place seems to have been part of the problem...and then letting due diligence go longer than a month was also another problem. The excuse that Management was distracted by Brookfield is bogus because it is supposed to be Rothschild, not WND, dealing with potential buyers. And Yabucoa is another bid problem.

You can't blame WND for all the problems because many were beyond their control or could not be predicted when the decisions were made. But they are our problems as shareholders, and blame is irrelevant now. I would blame the OSC but they thought they are doing shareholders a favor by letting the bid continue. I could blame all you turkey shareholders who did not send your own complaint to the OSC to show them shareholders demand an official Valuation and NOT that the tender continue. If you would have done that, as suggested more than once on this board, perhaps they would have ruled differently.

Jeff did a last minute OSC move ... It was his fault ,,, I am tired of ego maniac CEO's not taking responsibility for their failures HOW MUCH Fa-ING $$$$ WAS HE PAID .... He failed and blames everyone but himself ,,,,, he has tpo Monday or it is over  I am not blaming anyone $2.60 will do ,,,, I have no reason to believe Jeff anymore  Another co would step up ....

degus, Jeff said Rothschild was going to give us a 'fairness opinion'. Forget Brookfield, our own company isn't giving us any guidelines to go by.
