That's one spin on those numbers.  The other is that removing Brookfield's current shares, the total amount of shares issued is about 58M.  Brookfield had 23.3 as of last week - or 40% of the shares they do not already own.  They only need 29.  If they decide to by the 5% set out in the offer, the total 'independent shares' drops to 54.5 and they only need 27.25 ...more

71 million outstanding minus Brookfield 11 MM equal 60 out there. Brookfield needs 30 Million. If they buy up to 19.9% which is 3 MM more they cannot vote those shares and the reamaing is 57 MM.  Brookfield will not buy as it does not want to send up the price so they are stuck with 23 out of 30.  They are 7 MM short.  Do the proper math.  BTW After the 21st they do not control ...more

I all for one hope that the hedge funds to gobble up more shares, that a higher bid does come in and that I make more.  But I have also meet with Jeff in the past (through work not as an investor) and think he and his team are great at what they do - building wind farms.  The problem is, we are now in a sell mode.  My view has always been aligned with that posted by WND in their NRs ...more

Probability, I assume you mean a break up clause in the original NDA and access to dataroom agreement?  It would never happen.  A break up clause would be found at best in a preliminary offer to purchase.  That would occur where you have a bid with a number to be adjusted after further due diligience.  For the type of bid process we are in know, those viewing the room are ...more
