Tendered my shares

I figure I benefit either way. If Brookfield is successful I will get $2.60/share in about 3 weeks and can move on from this depressing circus. Quite frankly I don't want to be an investor in this company anymore. Jeff's response to Tom Konrad was the tipping point for me.  I don't much care for Brookfield. But I can't respect Jeff's behaviour either. With the share price currently at $2.33 I will benefit to the tune of .27

If Brookfield is close to 50% shares tendered they will likely up their bid another .10 or so to sway any in the fence shareholders. I would benefit further.

And if Brookfield falls short, goes away, and other bidders emerge as Jeff says they will, I will benefit in 3-4 months to the tune of about $3-$3.25/share. Even Jeff has subtly acknowledged that is his target range now (he told me at $2.50 to hang on for 3-4 months so that he could get me an extra .50) . Sorry j-mart...$4 ain't going to happen.

But mostly I just want to forget about WND, and by July latest I will be able to.

Cheers,

El Joro

Me too.  Enough already.  I've been in it for 2 plus years and the whole experience...the Algonquin debacle...the "will we/won't we" cash grant waiting game...the lack of information...and just the general hostility around the stock...all of it has left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

good for you.. if you haven't lost money then it should be more amusement and learning than bad taste.. PS i would change it to (mis)information....i was quite frankly unaware of some special arrangement that was claimed regarding windy that could cost next to nuttin or millions depending on things owners were not made aware of.
