As we are all caught in the news after tomorrow about BEP getting it or not, I also wanted to bring up the changing conditions in the macro market.
The broad market is showing signs of exhaustion. The commodity and energy sector took a big beating today and the markets seem like bracing for a correction.
As a smart investor, preservation of capital is important. My concern is that if the broad market falls into a correction and if BEP bid fails tomorrow, what is the likelihood that BEP or any other interested company will step forward for WND.
M&A activity can pretty much stall in a broad market sell off and it can adversely affect intrinsic value of companies for an extended period of time.
I am looking at some really good companies getting clobbered on their stock prices today because of changing market sentiment alone.
Won't it make sense to support this bid in the current market environment and get your capital out with a gain.
JMHO.
