Market drop and news

What bothers me is how the market dropped way before any news were announced, why trading was not halted, and the channels thru which news were released. Is this of sufficient concern to complain, if so to whom? Any comments appreciated.

Petroman, i apreciate your sorrowness.... whilst i thought the dozen or so shots of JD and Johnny Walker yesterday in the Pub have helped you get over your financial burden with WVR paper . you should have awarded yourself with a treat from beneath the pub table brought to you by: the good service of pub ladiesss. jd the professor - long and strong in the pub

I've never complained before so not sure but I would imagine you just call the Alberta Securites Commission and ask them what to do.  I agree with you on this.  First, people were selling before the news was out. Second, the news went out through a channel that does not get wide distribution i.e. it should have been on the TSE site immediately. Third, there should have been a halt in ...more
