It's been halted for 7 months now. Will the takeover be finalised this year? If it's not working out, maybe management should scrap it. It wouldn't be the first deal they've walked away from

Most likely being advised to not unhalt/clear up whatever they mucked up until they have everything in order, remembering this acquisition company 100% has the goal of ramping this stock up to feed their value, just depending how much current shareholders will be diluted, that said will still have to be a vote unless they already have majority which then we should be in okay shape.
