for context

Happy Sunday all, hope everyone had a good weekend.

I do see Newmont mentioned quite a bit here in relation to Gold Terra. Just for context, I am not even sure the resources that Gold Terra have now even qualify as a Tier 4 asset, let alone Tier one. Newmont is not interested in anything that is not at the very upper end of a Tier 1 asset. I.e., 500,000 per year for 20 years in the lowest percentile of the cost curve.

What Gold Terra have going for them right now is 1) the potential to hit banana grades at depth and 2) GP, because a successful track record opens doors and very often leads to further success in this industry.

If they hit bonanza type grades at depth, then we may have a bit of a bingo. Newmont doesn't assume control of 30 million or even 300 million dollar gold juniors. They assume control of 3 billlion dollar gold juniors.

Your comments are valid but a few years ahead of the timeline I got for my  planThe land package has tier one potential and the forecast to produce 150 million ounces for 20 plus years at a cost of around $1000 per ounce is at least a tier 2 asset. With our current valuation you can not find a cheaper opportunity in this space. We all know a few things need to happen for this to take off. Two ...more

Well we are drilling on their lease at depths they have not....finding interesting things ..and we are dilling around them in places they have not nor has anyone before them ( in last 30or40 years) and finding good gold....so safe to say ( and GP has said it) the are watching very closely and with keen interest....at same time in all this he is only just beginning on the ygt claim around and north ...more

This kind of thinking, that the big boys want 500,000 opy of gold at a low cost of production always got me thinking about history. Norm Keevil got a small copper mine up and going in Temagami.  He had three small underground mines, which each had two years of reserves, and an asset value of about $20 million.  This was built by exploration and acquisition to be a pretty good ...more

This is why our current market cap makes no sence. You have other juniors with a much smaller land package much lower grades and less gold in the ground not run by a proven manager  getting 5 to 10 times our valuation. Can anyone please explain this besides the obvious giant mine cleanup history what has nothing to do with us. I have been looking for a reason for two years now talked to GP ...more

No clear answer on my part, but do have to ask my self and you have eluded to on this BB, everyone is at mercy of those with the money, I am not aware of any junior in our class that is being successful in getting those with the $$ to the table, and most if not all have far less opportunity that what we sit on at con and the entire ygt claim, our brown field status potential with con and the fact ...more

Well put my friend. I agree with everything you said. It is most likely the market not willing to take a look and not some hidden flaw in the project only the insiders know aboud. I just can not help myselve to some more cheap shares. Gold fever or greed whatever you call it . There are a few other juniors I like but nothing looks this good. It is going to take a PEA and a few more ounces but that ...more

I still strongly believe in this company but I don't believe in the markets. I think the markets are going to languish like this for many years to come. Maybe even a decade. I have a lot of doubts as to whether these juniors will be able to stay liquid and come out of this market. I think we're going to see the well dry up and a little junior like YGT will need to make some tremendous ...more

In these times no doubt GP and experience helps significantly for those looking to invest, no question he is well connected big plus for us....we have a deposit ( strike zone) partially mined , 14 mil oz produced from 10 % of a 70 km strike zone, the rest hardly explored, with current focus in and under the 5 mil oz mined at con and clearly he has proven there is more, but big question is how much ...more

It is hard to not loose faith in this market Manipulated and rigged as it is the small guy looses more times unless he goes long with his own money and not give the market a reason to steal it. Options day trade margin calls is how they do it. I do not think it will take a decade for commodities to get back in favor. One or two major shakeups and off go. We are at the end off a bear market in our ...more
