How long does it take to get 100 m into the shear?

How and at what rate do they pull core ? .....that's a lot of pipe to extract

At these depths, tripping the core tube will take more than 30 minutes.  Penetration rates will be reduced because of depth, but also because of the risk of loosing core.  Care has to be taken.  Overall i would guess 100 m will take 4 to 5 days assuming no problems.  And there will be problems.  This is a technically challenging hole, but it can support a lot of wedges for

I agree geo. 4-5 days of drilling would get 100 meters. Pulling all the pipe and extracting core is also time consuming at these depts. My guess is at least two days. I do remember GP saying he would be done with the first deep hole including wedges by the end of the year. So add 6 weeks to that for the fire and problems. Hitting the shear was predictable but you never know untill you drill. Now

No question That initial core will be telling of many things and we know is a very minute section of the larger shear zone that is there and previously been a huge producer at upper levels ... it's a pins and needle situation at this early stage on what's potentially down deeper and is by no means the end all to the YGT story yet to unfold at con and north - Great anticipation on this

The biggest relieve is already that the shear is confirmed. Not cut off. Now let's see what's in it . Under normal market conditions we would already have a 100 million market cap with what we know now. Add the circumstances of high grade past producer in town with a shaft and treatment plant power etc. And you can add another 100 million dollars. JMO ofcours.
