This Stock

I use to own and trade this stock several times when it was trading in the low 40 cent range.

I left it when the current management team stopped exploration of all the former projects that the original ceo.

It's beyond me why so much money has been forked over to explore a mined out property that has caused nothing but problems since it closed.

You are talking about the giant mine north of town. It was a complete disaster with pollution. That has nothing to do with our company. The government owns it now. We are on the Con mine south of town. It was not mined out at all .It shut down when gold was $330 an ounce ( below the cost to produce) and it had plenty of gold left in it.We still own all the land hosting the shear north of town and ...more

Toboot, the Con mine was never an "mining problem" in fact to date it is 98% remeadiated ....totally different rock and milling at con vs the giant mine north - it's all laid out in the company reporting as noted do just a small amount of reading to get the facts. with recent news, the company has laid out its plans for the wedges off hole 56 to hit the same CS that was hit to the ...more

Meaning what GTR has drilled to date, is nothing. Nobody here is wrong ...more

I guess if we have the money we would also be working beyond the con site.....least we forget this is one of the 5 most prolific gold belts in canada where very little work has been done beyound the con and giant sites in the last 40 or more years, given the players before us, this lack of exploitation which is a story on its own, is also yet to be played out. We have huge proven hi grade ...more

I disagree there is nothing to show for all the drilling so far. 1.8 million ounces @ 8 gram with the first 3 years of open pit mining paying for the mill is something the other 300 juniors do not have. I do agree that succesfull wedges will be a game changer and Sprott will be looking to increase his stake or finance the mill. GP has others with deep pockets shareholders on the fence that would ...more

Nailed it with that comment ! And we all know that 1 or 2 mil oz at con will be the start of good things to come on a huge strike zone. And as you sayThose  300 others wish they had the prospect we do.
