YGT and the Lassonde curve

Given the history of and the potential future of Con and the gold belt YGT controls in and around Yellowknife .... the lassond curve could be quite a graphical representation of the story and the renewed potential, especially the historical Hi grade gold in the CS also given the dynamics of the existing significant infrastructure associated with this project let alone to management and experience GP and team have - Mr Lassond would be impressed himself ....it's all there and near set up for a major to come to play or GP does himself ... does not get any better.

We are already 75% up the latest curbe  without the price appreciation. That is what makes this so compelling. You get the results of hundrets of drill holes and 60 years of mining for the price of a junior that just started drilling. We are on our secconfd curve 3/4 up.Been there done that and now dopng it again. LOL This proves there is something else at play. You can not look back and find ...more

I don't think you are far off on that  yes been there done that with past con activity and we are on the cusp of significant gold potential again at con and  also north of town so far .... and yet we have 70 km of  additional strike zone.  Get thru next steps and if successful there  could 25 plus years of potential and yk will be back on the gold map. GP is ...more

Yes Red and who does not want the #5 district all for them selves if you are a big player looking for your next home.  We got something special and super valuable. GP is smart enough not to give it all up to keep on drilling at all cost. There are other ways to skin this cat. He clearly said he is open to a JV at the right valuation but not at todays price. That makes sence to me. I only own ...more

"He clearly said he is open to a JV at the right valuation but not at todays price." The market does not give him more and for good reasons.  The company is at a standstill and the pressure from the Newmont deal will come back next y .  He has to sell the Muligan project even for few ,and try his luck for the wedges with the money obtained. ( Muligan has no value at today' ...more

True, seems we are at a standstill on con site but Given what we are on the cusp of to the north from 056,  which could be 20 meters or 200 meters away ( we don't know forsure) but as we understood has indicator trace minerals of the CS to the north and we know lots about the potential of what it could hold, GP is testing the fortitude of the mining money money people, to come to the ...more

He needs a better market to proceed with the wedge's. The same goes for what he can do after he finds the missing ounces. It only works if he gets the price up as he goes. A sale of the company is the other option and that needs the same market conditions. If low grade gold in the ground 15 years ago was worth $75 with gold at $600. What's high grade. In town worth today? Can anyone ...more

You probably know better than most the answer to that question, please spell it out, would be interesting.  whats GP knows  is in the ground is not going anywhere whilst we wait for some shift in the market and wait for the investors who believe in what GP is on the cusp of, he does not need nor is he looking for moral support, he is out there selling the significant gold geology ...more

Meant to say with just 10 million of drilling ....

I know my own opinion of what it should be worth. I tried to point out what GP paid almost 20 years ago for the detour mine he build when gold was 500% cheaper. In today's world deals are done around $200 per ounce. That would put the stock at $ 0.70. If we had a producing mill the stock at $ 2 would still be cheap compare to others. He does need to stop selling stock so cheap or those numbers ...more

Thanks for that comment  insofar as con mine restart the only thing we really know is the significance of several elements of existing infrastructure and site work from roads, Lay down  areas,  containment cells, Shafts, warehouse, WTP , power grid etc even the site is fenced and has security gate house  at the entry, Those alone  are significant somethings to have that ...more

Glad to hear that those who have influence are the ones who have a lot to gain.  Not just cooperation but money in their pockets for doing the work and collecting the taxes for all. Ownership disputes should not be in  play here. Canada is not a banana republic. It realy is too bad we are held up by money restraints. I do have faith in GP that if the right opportunity opens up he will ...more

Red I still have shares parked in YGT but it's low on my radar. Do you have any updates as to their drilling program? Are they doing any drilling? It looks like we haven't had any results in quite sometime.
