Audio interview of Ian Foreman on Contrary Investors Cafe

Found here:  IanForeman Interview

Not a lot of new information but still a good 17 min. listen for a refresher.

  • explains project generator model and its advantages:
    • low share dilution
    • optionees pay them to do work on their own properties
    • also charge management fee for that
    • low burn rate b/c most of expenses paid by optionees
    • Ian is the only non-Mexican paid employee of the company
  • Ian speaks Spanish and as geologist can talk directly to the technical staff in Mexico
  • talks about his prior experiences as a geologist and what he brings to the company
  • talks about the bluesky potential
  • Six optionees working on six properties with very little risk to the shareholders
  • Exposure to news is multiplied
  • Exposure to results is multiplied
  • Yale, over time will be the minority interest holder of multiple more interesting, more significant projects
  • Having assets at advanced or early stage exploration will always have capacity for discovery which is a primary driver of market cap.
  • Projects in pipeline: last year, looked at approx. 100 projects in Mexico Don't believe in tying up capital in a lot of non-optioned properties
  • Now that only 2 properties are non-optioned will be actively looking for new projects to add to Yale's project portfolio
  • Hoping to have 10 or 11 projects in next 12 months with 8 or 9 optioned out
  • About 2 projects picked up out of 100 properties looked at
  • Yale is doing the non-sexy non-reporting "boots-on-the-ground" work that shareholders don't hear about
  • Property characteristics they look for is anything that other companies are looking for
  • Long process to bring a property into the company
  • Cost of acquisitions is passed along to optionee
  • Sometimes upgrade a project so that it can become attractive to an optionee
  • 5,000,000 stock options but no warrants overhang
  • Widely held
  • Management holds less than 5% but Ian holds a significant amount of that
  • Ian says he's significantly motivated to make this work on a fundamental and financial level
  • Going to be "extremely busy moving forward on a number of projects over the coming months, there's gonna be a lot of developments, there's gonna be a lot of news and with luck there's gonna be a lot of great results"
  • Shares trade on Venture Exchange, on Frankfurt and on OTC

Thanks Go4Shiny for the point form notes..your time is much appreciated!! I believe in Ian's growth plan and with patience for the long term investor, this stock will pay off in the long run. I have recently averaged down at .04

Thanks dabbler1,  that was exactly the problem.  I guess I have to keep IE around just for StockHouse.

Just saw the interview with Ian Foreman.    Sounds positive for Yale--they have a plan and sound patient and determined.  If they can make progess this will be eventually be very positive for the stock.  Hard to be patient though.
