wasn't expecting news until next month but i'll take all the information i can shew. what do you think about it?

Sorry but I am not diamond expert BUT I thought it looked pretty damn good BUT it looks like the market doesn't agree with me BUT then again nothing seems to make any sense withh VAA. Book Value is almost twice trading value. Just doesn't make any sense to me. Have you went to their web site? Have you seen all the pictures of the diamonds they have already found? Makes no sense to me.  ...more

Seems everyone else is holding on too, no one sold into the .26 bid that sat there all day yesterday.  I don't think there's that many shares for sale since yesterday's 76K on the ask has dissappeared.

the problem with this NR is that "Vaaldiam owns 20% of Braúna with a right to increase to 49%." my guess is that with revenues from reopening the Duas Barras and Chapada mines, they will use the cash flow to buy up to 49% in Brauna. that should happen in 2011 but the next big "step" will happen next month at about this date when the next quarter release is out. no ...more

Prices can rise suitably on just the annoucement that companies intend to increase ownership in promising properties.  VAA certainly has enough ways that they could pay for the other 29% of Brauna without revenue from the next financials, but it sure would help!  I think their statements from the news release from the quarter ending Sept 30 pretty much confirms that there will ...more
