Gnomestar Craft Inc > QUESTION FOR EARL - CEO/CONSULTANT/CO-FOUNDER?

QUESTION FOR EARL - CEO/CONSULTANT/CO-FOUNDER?

Earl,

Since you are on here, I have an honest question that is, for me, the elephant in the room.

On your LinkedIn, you list yourself as CEO of Gnomestar.  On twitter you list yourself as co-founder of Gnomestar. Yet are listed on the compay website as a consultant, and have stated here that you are not even paid by the company at all. On the surface, I can see it surprising investors that you co-fouded a company, sit as CEO, but aren't on the payroll.

I personally would like your explanation of why this situation is so confusing.  Gnomestar is pretty much a brand new company which means you would have gone in over the past few months and updated these.

I am long on GNOM, but interpret the optics of this kind of thing to imply that there is drama. I'd like to give you the opportunity to explain what this situation is about for me, and perhaps other investors that might be wondering the same thing.

Hello, This is not a new company.  It went public in 2014 as Vodis Pharmaceuticals Inc.  I am CEO, Director, Responsible Person, and Head of Security for the Health Canada licensed subsidiary Vodis Innovative Pharmaceuticals Inc. The website is incorrect.  I have writen Mark Lotz instructing the website to be fixed.  Stay tuned. I came in as an activist investor in 2017 and ...more

Earl is so right when he says that without him, the company would nowhere be near from where it is today. Longs know this well enough. I suggest people to read reviews on the products created by Earl and Mike. I am still convinced that this brand is one of the best out there.

Thank you.   Personally, I could have called it 'HelloWorld Craft Cannabis' and retailers would have still bought it.  The reason our product sold out in record time at the provincial level is because of the relationships I built at the retail level.  In a very crowded market, retailers gave us the benefit of the doubt and stocked our product.  Fortunately, our ...more

I personally don't disagree with the quality being there with the product. There is just somethig bizarre going on here with respect to titles and who actually owns and runs the company. Your contribution is not disputed, nor are your credentials. But what I hear elsewhere doesn't align with what you say, and why I ask. From what I've heard there is a fair amount of drama around who is ...more

Everyone works for their own self-interest, or the interest of their family, etc.  I don't think I'm crazy to get angry at my insufficient compensation.  Really, I should have quit already, but everyone knows this company is my baby and I won't quit and see it fail.  I keep working to put out the best product we possibly can while appealing to shareholders to step up and ...more

So you, the person who interfaces with the public more than anybody, allegedly the only one in the company that is doing anything, a CEO, Director, Founder, Health Canada contact and presumably someone who is privy to insider information, do not think that it is appropriate to be reporting your trading activity with the stock? I get that they didn't force you to sign a contract, but I, as an ...more

You have really good arguments. I think Mark is the one that needs to step up. Shareholders have been left in the dark for too long and anything would be good news actually. It's a small company with great production and lots of potential but management always been very nebulous from the start. I honestly can't wait to see some columns with numbers.

My friends in the industry are perpetually shocked that I have stayed at this company for as long as I have.  I stay because Gnomestar is my baby.  I saved this business and everyone knows it.  I want to build a craft cannabis company that I can be proud of, but not at my own expense.  Sorry, dear shareholders, but I'm tired of sacrificing for you.  It's unfair to ...more

Hey Earl, Myself and i know a handful of shareholders have sent multiple emails to Mark Lotz asking for things such as Earl to be properly compensated, a vote to be held, suggestions that Earl should be appointed CEO etc. Please let us know what else we can do to help and if it's just that please reply saying what people need to do in order for it to be on a public billboard so it can be ...more

By securing Earl for a longer time period by doing what you say would only add to the stability of the companies future. This thing went nowhere before Earl came over n got it done.

Now  that we are harvesting product because of your work, you should def be rewarded. With payment. we now have cash coming in.  Common sense

I was thinking yesterday that now Earl knows how to get a licence, how to grow and with all the new contacts he has made in the last few years, he could easily turn around and start his own thing. Amd you know what, I would jump in his adventure. So if we do not want to see this to happen anytime soon, yes, I thing we better start paying those guys ( I would assume Mike is not getting much more) .

I think you should re-read my post again. I'm coming on here to answer shareholder questions about me.  I want to build a craft cannabis empire.  I build the network and connections to build a massive craft cannabis business, but when it came time to deal me in, shareholders collectively ignored my needs.  Actions have consequences and when shareholders are collectively ...more

Hi Dr. Oliver, I'm a big fan, have been reading your Twitter ever since you started posting about the company. Please keep up the amazing work you've been doing. I'm sure there are lots of little guys like me rooting for you. Thank you for your hard work.

I think how Earl expressed himself that day is a reflection of how bad things got within those walls. I am actually really glad that Earl takes some of his time to post on Twitter. Without him, we would have no clue of what is going on with GnomestarCraft. Clearly with the new website, Mark Lotz is the CEO and if Mark has the shareholders in their best interest, he will step up and clarify things ...more

The trick to not getting fired is to never get hired.  I find this whole situation quite comical. It's like that episode of Twilight Zone with two parallel realities - one based on actuality, and one narrated by Earl's ego. The plot just gets better and better. When Earl quits or is separated (what does that even mean for someone who is not even an employee?) will be when the stock ...more

Earl, I have been a huge fan of yours since you started posting your updates on Twitter.  That being said I'm appaled at your behaviour on this board.   To publicly state you don't care about the shareholders,  many who have supported this company long before you came onto the scene and many who have lost a lot of their hard earned money speaks volumes to your character ...more

This is a business transaction.  I have worked tirelessly to build this business.  Shareholders have failed to compensate me for my services.  It's as simple that.  How long would you work without pay?  I am quite open about my displeasure.  You can either ignore it or make some effort to help me improve it. Earl

Who can we email? Everyone knows you saved this companies a$$. You deserve to be appropriately compensated as does anyone who works for a living wage.

Hi Mike, Before you reach a conclusion about this please take the time and phone Earl and talk with him. After that reach out to Derek Good and talk with him. Only after talking with both parties can you make a reasonable assesment of what the true situation is. Thanks, WB
